Abstract: In this paper, we present a new approach “Organisational Process Reengineering” (OPR) based on Business Process Reengineering (BPR) infused with Human-centered Design approaches. OPR focuses on restructuring organisations by analysis and designing of business processes and workflows. It helps organisation to rethink and redesign how work is done and introduces modern technology to support new workflows and processes. Paper further describe, how OPR can be used to eliminate loop hole in BPR, how modern technology and carefully engineered processes using Human-centered design (HCD) approach can improve overall efficiency of an organisation.

Additionally we discuss about role of HCD and Information Technology (IT) in this method and define transition from BPR to OPR. Furthermore, we will discuss core elements of OPR, emerging components and how it gets defined based on organisation and industry. Paper also discusses implementation, results and observation during successful project implementation at multiple organisations in various industries.
