Since the finalization of the acquisition of No Magic by Dassault Systèmes mid-2018, important progress have been made on the 3DEXPERIENCE Platform System Engineering portfolio, on the No Magic portfolio and on their mutual integrations. Mid 2022, four years after, is a good time to take a step back and look at the recent evolutions, the present status and the evolutions to come in the next year. Two important challenges detailed: First the digital continuity between the Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) multidisciplinary activities and the Model Based Design (MBD) activities allowing breaking the silos between two communities often separated, second the lifecycle management of MBSE and MBD data which are updated at different rhythms and yet need to share a common global project schedule.
