Abstract
This paper showcase the value of conceptual modeling in early phase decision making. The authors have applied an approach for using conceptual models in system level decision making in an actual case in the maritime industry. The paper evaluate the benefits and pitfalls with using such models and how they are perceived by industry practitioners.
