Abstract
Data Element Mapping and Analysis (DEMA) represents a new and systematic methodology for the standardized capture, mapping, and analysis of data threads essential for comprehending digital systems and their architecture. This research studies the synergies between DEMA and Systems Modeling Language (SysML). The results of this research show that DEMA can serve as a complementary tool, enhancing the creation of SysML models by improving knowledge capture and verification processes.
